Mini Olympics 2007

 

An action packed day for all kids and adults alike, the Snow Farm team puts on a day of activities including:

-          Tandem ski races

-          Biathlon ranges

-          Ski pole throwing

-          Ski races

-          Winter shot put

-          Luge racing

-          And lots more activities for the kids

 

The Children are divided up and assigned to a country from around the winter Olympic nations and compete against each other for overall honour in the Olympic category.

Points are awarded for performance, team dynamics, support, and getting out there and giving it a go. Our talented group of instructors ensure the kids are well catered for and having a great time!

Open for ages from 5-15 the day out is a great opportunity for the kids to burn off some energy during the school holidays, experience the thrill of the Snow Farm and have a great day out!

What: Mini-Olympic Games for kids of all ages
 
Where:  SnowFarm Cross-Country Ski Centre, on the Crown Range   Road opposite the Cardrona Ski Field.
 
When: Saturday, June 30 2007, 10-4pm (ready to ski at 10am).
 
Why: To introduce kids and parents alike to the wonderful world of cross-country skiing and most of all just to have fun!
 
Cost: $10 per athlete
 
 Don’t forget to also bring your parents for a day full of fun and laughter!
