Snow Farm Biathlon
This exciting new event is new to the Snow Farm this winter, we have built an impressive Biathlon range and are in the process of getting the resources to host what could be NZ’s first Biathlon Ski race.
Biathlon racing consists of a ski – usually about 4kms and a small bore rifle target shooting section. The competitors risk a time penalty or a lap around a smaller ‘penalty loop’ if targets are missed! This makes for exciting racing between the fast skiers and the sharp shooters!
