Ski School 

Intro Pack Lessons 
 
Let us introduce you to the fun of cross country skiing. This package takes you through the essentials to get you out and about on the snow. The package includes your day pass and ski hire and an introduction to the sport from one of our ski school staff. We will show you how to select skis, poles and boots, be shown how to fit them, how to get up when you fall over and how to walk and ski in the classic tracks. Our aim is to show you how to be safe on the snow and how to get the most out of your on-snow experience. 

Private Lessons

An hour-long lesson tailored to your skills. Learn intermediate and advanced skiing technique and improve your fitness or racing speed. Become more effective and have fun on skis. 

Locals Programme

For those who come regularly to the mountain. Improve your skiing skills, or just get out and get skiing. Gain fitness or retain mobiliutywhile building friendships here at the ski field. Have a season of cross country skiing fun! Check out the Locals Programme for 2010.

Discounts for season pass holders and skiers not needing hire. Enquire at the front desk. 

Master Clinics

An hour-long group lesson on every day you want to come up to the mountain. Learn intermediate and advanced skiing technique whilst having fun in a friendly group atmosphere. Hopefully with Alexei Sotskov a former Russian National Development coach who now works with top collegiate university teams in the USA. Alexei was the 2010 New Zealand Olympic coach in Vancouver. Alexei adapts to all levels of Nordic skiers from beginners to the advanced racers. Learn more about Club Alexei. However if alexei is unable to come for the whole winter the clinics will be instructed by the best of our Snow Farm instructors. This is a great programme not only to improve your technique but to meet other skiers. Daily / weekly fee available by request. POA 

Junior Programmes

The New Zealand Nordic Sports Development Association (NZNSDA) organizes lessons and training sessions for children and adolescents of all ages. In addition to the Mini and Midi Merino programmes for children aged 3-10, NZNSDA organizes training sessons for students looking to compete in the sport of nordic skiing.
