KEY FACTS

What Is the PISA Alpine Charitable Trust ?

The Pisa Alpine Charitable Trust (PACT) is a charitable trust that has been formed to secure
the ownership of the Snow Farm to ensure that the area remains available to future generations
for cross country skiing and other Nordic sports, summer recreational activities, and winter and
summer educational pursuits.

During the period 2009-2011 PACT has arranged funding for the  purchase the
Snow Farm land from:

QLDC (by way of allocation of appropriate reserves contributions)

Central Lakes Trust

Community Trust of Otago

New Zealand Lottery Grants Board, Community Facilities Fund

Who will own the Snow Farm Land?

The Snow Farm land will be transferred  to the Queenstown Lakes District Council and form
a new recreation reserve protected in perpetuity for Nordic sports and other summer
recreational uses. It is proposed that this new reserve will be called the Waiorau Recreation
Reserve
in recognition of the original name for the area and the sheep station on the property.

When Will the PISA Alpine Charitable Trust take over the management of the Snow Farm

Once title for the Snow Farm land is separated out from the overall Waiorau farm title, and  the land
be transferred into the ownership of the QLDC , PACT will be granted a  long term lease over the land
to act as custodian for the land and mange the Snow Farm skiing operation.

It is expected that the new title will be available before March 2012, which will mean that PACT
will be managing the Snow Farm operations for the 2012 winter onwards
