Backcountry Skiing
Located at the heart of the Pisa range the opportunities are endless for backcountry skiing. Nordic backcountry ski hire available or bring your own and enjoy the varied terrain suitable for the beginner or the experienced adventurer. Experience the backcountry with the same confidence as you would a groomed downhill trail. Alpine Skiing in its original form.
Passes are $20 per person. Alternatively, if you are wishing to access the DOC's Kirsty / Kirtle Burn Hut we can assist you with directions to the start of this track. A $20 road fee per car applies to this option. Please stop in and purchase your backcountry pass / pay the road fee at the Snow Farm ticket counter.
